Jax has a nice patio wrapping around the building for outdoor dining and libations. Inside has a good sized bar and plenty of seating with capacity for large parties.

Amy, Jillian and Sydney are amazing and always entertain and take care of the customers. The only downside is that the wifi is iffy at best.

Great place to hang out though! We've lived in Lake Mary for a little over 5 years and when places disappoint, we always give a second chance. We went to Jax a couple of years ago and it simply was underwhelming. Fried bar food and drinks, sometimes that's ok but it at least has to be good. We tried again Thursday night. The bar was packed and the bartender was overwhelmed but working hard! There was no one sitting in the dining area, this huge top room empty.

We grabbed a Hi-Top by the bar and was told the bartender would handle us. Finally, a server saw that was not going to happen and grabbed our drinks. Staff was super friendly but this gorgeous location needs a menu that matches its aesthetics. The outdoor seating over looks a pond, it great but not a place we will be back anytime soon, I'd love to partner with this owner and make this place the best in town My office used to be across the street from Jax, and a lot of after work happy hours were had there.

The first time I had food there, I was violently ill for hours afterward. I vowed to never eat there again. I did go several more times over the years and only drank, but last night I decided to try and eat there again. I spent half the night in the bathroom and ended up bringing a pillow and blanket in there with me. I didn't know which way it was coming and it was a miserable experience.

They have good happy hour deals and if you're only going to drink, have fun! Just consider yourself warned if you're eating there. Visit here regularly. Staff is great and food is good. Inside is crazy loud. They need to look into sound dampening. Two complaints. These were not employees they were just older customers their for bingo. Now we weren't walking in 10 mins before bingo started at 7 and we walked in at Allowing customers to yell at and verbally assault others who just want to sit down and have dinner is unbelievably bad form.

Let me start by saying Jax is about 10 mins from home and we visit a couple times a month including up on sat or sun afternoon sitting outside with our dog and things generally good. BUT this was a miserable experience for dinner tonight. Appreciate the "seat yourself sign" but almost 10 mins later with no recognition I was ready to leave. Placed order for two beers and asked for someone to bring a damp rag to wipe the table. By this point I had my phone out with the timer running.

We got water within 5 mins but our beers were another 10 plus mins and after asking 3 times for a damp rag I just poured water out of my glass and used napkins.

Our order of two burgers both medium well took 20 mins. Wife's burger was fine but mine was raw and barely that. My fries were greasy and cold. I don't know if they were understaffed or what but this visit was a disaster.

Always watered down drinks, food is so so, if not fried. Big turn around on servers. New owners for sometime now haven't done a thing to the place.

Happy hour specials here are great, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. My meal tasted bland and I was shocked to be charged for a small tablespoon of barbecue sauce.

The bartender was great and very friendly, however I wouldn't eat here again. I met up with some co-workers to catch a football game, and I'm familiar with the name because of the location in downtown Orlando.

This location gives me a neighborhood type of vibe, with the lakefront, and being near a few apartment complexes. The parking lot isn't too big, but there's plenty of seating inside, so on big sporting events, I can imagine that the parking lot gets crowded. There are a lot of TV's so watching any event here has a great point of view! If you're a craft beer lover like myself, there is a long list of craft beers to make a selection from as a draft.

There are many local breweries on the list, so that made me happy. Now the food selection is what caused me to hesitate, there is a variety, but for some reason it took me a while to make a selection. I ordered 20 wings with two different flavors. I went with garlic parmesan and tropic thunder, it was a sweet and spicy sauce with some coconut shavings on them.

The wings came at a decent size, but the flavor wasn't all that to me on either of the wings, but they weren't terrible and they were cooked all of the way. Our service was good too, the server was attentive and always made sure that we were hydrated, whether it was water or beer. I could see myself returning for the craft beer selection and a good sporting event.

But nothing much else. Friendly bar that is absolutely deserted on Mother's Day! I had a roast beef wrap that was full of delicious roast beef and wrapped in a soft flour tortilla.

I substituted the horse radish sauce for the ranch dressing! Good choice! The chips are not chips in the traditional sense but homemade crisps of goodness! Amy is a friendly and funny bartender who talked me into a pickle back I won't say it's my favorite but really pretty good!

I'll be back. A great combination of friendly service and good food! Holly was my bartender and was phenomenal! I highly recommend checking this place out! My hostess sat me at a dirty table that server just put my plate right on top of and didnt wipe it down.

My tea tasted like tap water, and burger was average at best. Burgerfi was better and cheaper! Friendly Confines. Graffiti Junktion - Lake Mary. Magnolia Square Market. WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN MY WORKERS’ COMPENSTION CLAIM IS DENIED?• Many people do not understand what it means when their workers’ compensation claim is denied.• Please note that this is just a quick explanation and not meant to be a comprehensive explanation of what a denial means in every case. However, this is applicable to the average workers’ compensation case. • You usually become aware that you claim has been denied when you receive a “Notice of Denial of workers’ compensation benefits” in the mail. (SHOW SLIDE 1 “DENIAL OF WORKERS’ COMP BENEFITS (While me still taking)• Please understand that this is VERY common. I tell a majority of my clients, especially if they have filed a workers’ compensation cumulative trauma claim, that their claim will be denied at the beginning. • For a quick refresher of the two types of workers’ compensation injury claims you can make, please see my other YouTube videos. Back to me• This Denial means that you will not be getting any workers’ compensation benefits at the start. You will likely start to receive benefits as the case progresses, if not, at the conclusion of the case. However, every case is different. • Please remember that most insurance companies, especially workers’ compensation insurance companies, are extremely cheap. • For example, if you file for injuries to your hands for repetitive typing for 10 years, they will likely deny your workers’ compensation claim. Even if it is this straight forward. This is because they do not want to pay you anything and are hopeful that you will give up and go away. Do not give up!• When your claim is denied, this simply means that you have to show that your injuries are due to work, at least in part. This is commonly handled and done AFTER you file your workers’ compensation claim.• Again, in the example of you filing for injuries to your hands for repetitive typing for 10 years, it is always better if you have seen a doctor in that 10 year period, BUT if you have not, this is okay. Many people are unable to, or do not want to see a doctor for whatever reasons. • However, while this might be one of the many reasons they denied your claim, you can simply go to the doctor, usually through an attorney and show that the injuries are in fact connected to work. Again, this can be done AFTER you have filed the workers’ compensation claim.______________________________________________________• If the claim is denied, you might be wondering how you see a doctor. • Your attorney will find a doctor for you that will treat you on a lien. This doctor will then start connecting your claimed denied injuries to your employment and the process begins. • The insurance will want to get involved as treatment begins because this reporting or “medical evidence” by the doctor will show that the claimed and denied injuries are in fact connected to your employment. • At this point, the only option for the insurance, is to go to a PQME or an AME to try to prove otherwise. This is a non treating, neutral expert doctor. • A PQME is a Panel Qualified Medical Examiner that is given to us by the workers’ compensation system.• An AME is an Agreed Medical Examiner. This is a doctor that your attorney and the defendant are comfortable with using and feel that will give a truly neutral opinion. • You must always be careful with an AME, because an AME’s opinion is final in the case. • This is in contrast to a PQME, who’s opinion goes against your treating doctor. If the two doctors disagree, then if necessary, this would proceed to a workers’ compensation trial. • If you have an AME doctor, this is your whole case in that medical speciality. Whatever they say, goes. We can fight their opinions, but their FINAL word is what a Judge will agree with 99.9% of the time. Your primary doctors opinion really does not matter next to an AME. • Once you have the PQME and/or AME on your side, and they have finalized their opinions, then this is USUALLY when the insurance company starts to pay benefits. Some insurance companies still fight, but they ultimately lose a majority of the time. • Once you have final opinions from the AME and/or PQME in all the applicable medical specialites, this is when settlement usually happens. • If disagreements continue, a workers’ compensation trial is set. This involves only a workers’ compensation Judge, no jury. This takes place at the workers’ compensation appeals board. ____________________________________________• If you claim is denied, please understand that you are not alone. Many cases are initially denied. Please make sure that you fight for the workers’ compensation benefits that are rightfully yours. ... See MoreSee Less
